Volunteers restoring Belarus’ only Renaissance-style castle for 15th consecutive year. The Lubcha Castle, the Radziwill family’s residence, has a 16th-century stone tower and is surrounded by a defensive moat. Being an example of Renaissance architecture, the Lubcha Castle is put on par with the Nesvizh and Mir Castles. Today, the ancient building is being restored by volunteers – students, scientists, historians and patrons from across the country. The dome over the entrance tower was restored according to the blueprints of the past centuries.
