International Yuri Bashmet Festival runs in Minsk until 8 October

The Belarusian State Philharmonic hosted the grand opening of the International Yuri Bashmet festival, featuring Maestro Bashmet himself and the New Russia orchestra. Founded 27 years ago the orchestra consists of 100 members. It has gathered best musicians of Russia and the CIS. The festival will run for 12 days. The program includes 6 big concerts, interactions, exhibitions, and master-classes.
