Farmers began to mass harvest sugar beets

Farmers began to mass harvest sugar beets. Grodno region is among the leaders in terms of beets yield. About 600 centners per hectare are harvested here. This year, harvesting began a week later than usual, however, agricultural enterprises plan to complete the work strictly on time. At the same time, beets are shipped to processing plants. The Skidelsky Plant receives about 8,000 tons of beets daily. It is planned to complete the harvest in full volume until 2022.
