Belarus and Uzbekistan presidents consider $1 billion mutual trade possible

Belarus and Uzbekistan have a potential to reach $1 billion in mutual trade, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted during the talks. Industrial cooperation and the bilateral trade turnover increase were in the center of attention of the Heads of State. Belarus is ready to share experience and create enterprises in Uzbekistan. In turn, Uzbekistan invites Belarus to start joint cotton processing and oil extraction. 16 cooperation agreements were signed today following the talks. Also, a lot of major business contracts were signed by the participants of the Uzbek-Belarusian forum of business and interregional cooperation.
