First stage of Old Castle's reconstruction nearing its completion

The first stage of reconstruction of the Old Castle is nearing completion in Grodno. Construction and installation works on the south wall and in the two towers is almost complete. The entrance gates got back their historical look. Preparations are being made to equip showcases, podiums and install multimedia systems in the restored galleries and rooms inside the castle. Museum staff are actively working to select exhibits for the main exposition. The new exposition will open for visitors in early June. In parallel, work will be carried out to draft the project for reconstruction's second stage. It includes the restoration of the royal palace.
