"Memory" patriotic action dedicated to Day of Khatyn tragedy taking place in Belarus

The action brought together residents fr om all over Belarus. People come to monuments and memorials to clean up after winter and pay tribute to the memory of the victims. In the Khoiniki region, the action takes place at the monument in the village of Aleksichi. In August 1942, the Nazis turned 123 courtyards into ashes, almost 400 villagers were burnt to death. And in Gomel, young people called up for military service joined the "Memory" action. They arrived at the memorial complex in Novobelitsa, wh ere dozens of plaques bear the names of the fallen war heroes.
