Remembrance patriotic event unites Belarusians from all regions

Today the memorial complex in the village of Dory, Volozhin district, became a meeting place for participants of the Remembrance patriotic event. Local residents, school students, representatives of district organizations, and the Belarusian Women's Union gathered to remember the tragic events of July 1943 and paid tribute to those who died during the Great Patriotic War. The memorial "Forever Waiting the Fallen" is erected on the foundation of the church, which was burnt down along with 257 local residents. The monument was opened in the early 70s.
